Always wanted to enroll your kids into Karate or Taekwondo to build their focus and confidence? Look no further then our renowned Victory MMA Academy Youth Program. Where we can offer your child the benefits from those martial arts and more. Our mission is to take old character values such as discipline, honor, respect, focus and gratitude and infuse them with a modern martial arts curriculum that incorporates boxing, kickboxing, wrestling and jiu-jitsu. All while having a ton of fun and making friends in a positive environment!

We also end every class with what is called a MAT CHAT. This is a character life lesson for the kids that is worded in a way that they can easily understand.

We use these to teach your children character values that apply to their life at home, school and the dojo.

Read through values you see below to see why thousands of kids have put down their electronics to come join our classes every week for years!

Your Child Will Gain:

Focus

FOCUS – by being held accountable to pay attention during our engaging classes and “Sit Like a Black Belt”. We also explain how to apply focus in all areas of their life through the “Three Areas of Concentration” Mat Chat. They will also be ineligible for their next belt until they display respect and focus each and every class.

Confidence

CONFIDENCE – we feel that confidence is something you give yourself as well as something you earn. We provide your child a structured and encouraging environment where they are given the opportunity to flourish. On top of that, we teach them that their confidence grows when they work hard and achieve difficult goals such as earning their next belt or mastering a difficult technique.

Bully-Awareness

BULLY-AWARENESS – our most highly requested presentation at schools and scout troops is our Bully-Safe Workshop. “Bully-Proofing” your family is always a theme at Victory and is woven into every class. But every October, in honor of annual Bully-Awareness Month, we build our entire curriculum around bully-awareness principles such as knowing your worth, learning how to handle insults with verbal judo, and not being a bully yourself.

Discipline

DISCIPLINE – we always teach our students that discipline is the master key to success in anything. We do this by making sure they are attentive in class and fully engaged. We also hold each student accountable for knowing the Moves of the Month and the Mat Chat if they are to earn their next belt.

Leadership

LEADERSHIP – the greatest gift martial arts can give is the ability to become a leader and share that new-found confidence with others. We make sure that our higher belts are held to a raised standard inside and outside of the academy. To become a higher belt and Senpei (assistant) we have their guardian verify their grades, behaviour at school, and level of respect at home. As any adult knows, there is no position in life that cannot be improved by becoming a better leader.

Respect/Honor

RESPECT/HONOR – a mark of a true martial artist is how they treat other people. That is why we always have our students refer to their instructor as “sir” or “ma’am” and teach them how to value all of the different people in their life. We then show them how to posture themselves around their parents, teachers, Sensei’s and kids around them.
